Positions developed enabled Shell to negotiate a very satisfactory settlement.

·      Acted as Lead Auditor in large audit as result of the dispute between the Nigerian Government and Shell.

·      Reduced costs due to improved Asset Data Integrity, Shell Nigeria’s ISO Certification by producing model Licence To Operate Documentation (LTO) for Production Facility ‘Jones Creek’ as part of an Operations Information System (OIS). All facilities in Shell Nigeria have been following this standard. Auditors from external consultants (Veritas) commended the document management solutions. An integrated Corporate Asset Register was realised, based on Livelink/Opentext.

·      Combined the position of Lead Information Planning with Lead Data Management.

·      Managed all Data in NAM. Responsible for steering, supervising and controlling the Data/Document Management process (team of 12 staff, budget three and a half million USD).

·      Managed IM&T Infrastructure and Application/Data Portfolio of Shell Chemicals. Yearly Budget: USD 25 million with team of 25 staff (all IT budgets in SNC).

·      Realisation an improved Profit Centre structure including a Strategic Corporate Management Information System (MIS). The project provided improved internal communication and better yardsticks for management. The project changed significantly the way the Chemical business was run. The backbone of the MIS was an OIS that provides essential production data.

·      Responsible for evaluation, selection en introduction of SAP Finance and Logistics. This resulted in a successful introduction of SAP in Shell Chemicals and the first SAP installation in the Shell Group. The development was the precursor to EuroSAP and has been recorded as a breakthrough performance in the Shell Group. Based on the results of introduction of SAP in Shell Chemicals and EuroSAP it was decided for Shell worldwide roll out.
